Go to the Lists menu -> Select Templates. The templates window opens.
Click the Templates button -> select Download Templates. If you receive a Launch Web Browser message. Click OK. You will land to the Support site where the templates are located.
Click on the type of Form Template or Report you want to view (like: sales order, miscellaneous)
Choose the template or report you want to download into QuickBooks Desktop -> Click the link to download.
Save the template to your desktop.
Go back to QuickBooks Desktop -> Open the Templates window or Memorized Report List
Click the Templates/Memorized Report button -> Select Import.
Browse to your desktop where you have saved the template -> Select Open. The new template is added to the Layout Designer, reports are added directly to the Memorized Report List.
If necessary make changes that you want to the template
Click OK to save the template to the Templates List.
