QuickBooks Undeposited Funds

How to Deal with Undeposited funds in QuickBooks

Undeposited funds account is like an envelope where you can keep all your checks until you take them to the bank. It is a default account in QuickBooks accounting software that holds funds from payments to your company until you deposit them to your bank account. One cannot deposit funds directly to the Undeposited Funds, because it’s only a temporary account. You can deposit the funds in a single transaction after you take your deposits to your bank account. The benefit to a huge payment is that your transactions are still itemized in the account register, at the same time it allows only to check the huge amount deposits when reconciling transactions with your bank statements.
